Estimates
Before beginning a project, we will give you our best estimate of the amount of time or money your project will take. Please understand that this estimate is just an estimate, not a guarantee.

Rates & Fees
We charge a consistent hourly rate per project, decided on before the start of work. Subsequent projects may be billed at a different rate. If we purchase software, hosting, domains, print services, stock photography or illustration, or any other goods or services for your project, these fees will be added to your final invoice.

Payment
Website projects: We require a 50% down payment prior to the start of your project.
Projects less than $500 and all maintenance packages: 100% is due prior to the start of your project.
On-going clients may be billed at the completion of subsequent projects.

Final payment will be due at project completion. A project is considered complete when haasPlay has finished the details of your project or work has stopped due to client delays. Client delays include adding products, taking photographs or supplying copy.

If a project goes over budget due to an increase in the project's scope, we may require a second payment before proceeding.

Refunds
We do not offer refunds on hours worked. If a project is canceled prior to completion, hours worked will be deducted from the deposit.

Cancellation
In the event that you would like to cancel a project, haasPlay design requires a written cancellation request. Ownership of all original artwork and programing will be retained by haasPlay design.

Artwork Copyright
The Client will hold harmless, protect, indemnify and defend haasPlay design and its subcontractors from any liability (including attorney?s fees and court costs), including any claim or suit, threatened or actual, arising from the use of unlicensed artwork provided by the Client.

Permissions
The Client authorizes haasPlay design to access its hosting account, databases or any other programs needed for the project as well as any usernames and passwords required to access the accounts. Your information is confidential and is not shared.

Warranty
haasPlay design does not warrant that your web site will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event will haasPlay design be liable to the Client or any third party for any damages arising out of the operation or or inability to operate the web site.

Sole Agreement
The Client is engaging haasPlay design as an independent contractor. The signed contract constitutes the sole agreement between haasPlay design and the Client. Additional work will require a change order.

Contract
In addition to the deposit, a signed contract is required prior to the start of any project.

Backup Service
We will make backup copies of your site and/or database files as often as agreed upon. If there is any problem with the data we have saved for you, such as file corruption, incomplete data, or incompatible SQL files, we will not be responsible for data loss. If you need to have your site or database restored from our backup files, we will charge an hourly rate for the time it takes to restore your data.
