It is said that necessity is the mother of invention.

The seeds for haasPlay design were planted in 1999 when owner, Renee Haas, needed an online showcase for her clothing design company, Trixie & Tasha. The first web site is long gone, but the desire to design, develop, and optimize striking web sites took root.

Renee moved to Orange County, CA in 2001, and after a few years of honing her marketing & design skills in the corporate world, Renee once again heard the call of entrepreneurship. haasPlay was offically launched in 2004.

While not learning new skills and web technologies, Renee can most likely be found tending her garden or riding her bike in beautiful Oceanside, CA, where she resides with her husband Steve.
